The Covid-19 pandemic poses major challenges for the public sector. In particular, the fast provision of test results, contact tracking or even quarantine control are characterized by processes distributed over many different actors, media breaks and consequently long processing times. A further challenge is the need for temporary capacity building through external resources, e.g. in contact tracing for health authorities.

 

In order to remain capable of acting quickly and efficiently in the pandemic, an overarching portal is to be provided for all the players involved.
